Back from Brazil

Hi Friends,

Jeff and I are home safe and sound. Although my body is tired from almost 9 hours on the plane, my spirit is greatly enthused to continue investing my life in things that will out-live me … by devoting my life to reaching others for Christ.
It was a long flight!
Our time in Brazil was awesome! I was able to encourage a lot of pastors and church leaders at the conference and met quite a few pastors who would love for me to join efforts with them in reaching their communities. My primary purpose on this trip was to speak at the conference but I also had an opportunity to speak at 2 churches on Sunday where a total of 13 people gave their lives to Jesus. There is much work to be done in Brazil and plans are already underway for me to begin evangelizing in Rio and Sao Paulo next year.

Speaking with Sara!Thank you for making this ministry possible by your friendship, gifts and prayers. If you could see the tears and hear from the many grateful people who made decisions on this short trip alone, you would feel the same overwhelming passion that burns within my heart to keep going. For example, on Sunday night, a lady came up to me with tears dripping down her face. “Thank you,” she said, “My husband accepted Jesus in his heart tonight because of your testimony!” In tears, her husband just pointed at me and said, “NOW, I believe.”

Its stories like these that compel me onward. That’s why in just 2 short weeks I will board yet another airplane and fly 6 ˝ hours to Santa Cruz, Bolivia and then drive for another 10 hours to Cochabamba where I will spend 14 days sharing the gospel through my personal story. Pray for me!

So that all nations might believe,
Bernadette Todd
