Back Home!

Me with the kids at VBS!Dear Friends,

This trip has been an awesome experience. I cannot thank you enough for your prayers and financial support that has afforded us this incredible opportunity to work alongside Campus Crusade for Christ in Bolivia. The Bolivian people are great, and so open to hearing the gospel. Every group I met with, both secular and Christian, were willing to sing "Cristo me Ama" (Jesus Loves Me) with me. I left each person I met, with a simple message: "The choices we make can change the story of our lives, and the most important choice we can ever make in life, is to open our hearts to Jesus and commit our lives to him. Only He can fill the void in our hearts and give purpose and meaning to our lives."

Thanks for making this Mission endeavor possible!I leave YOU today with a challenge. If you haven't already done so, why not take a chance and enter the international mission field? I have heard the many excuses people give why they “can’t” go. All very valid reasons: childcare, finances, work, etc. I’ve had many reasons myself: my physical disability, accessibility obstacles, Jeff’s work, etc. But I believe it is a true declaration of our faith to TRUST GOD to meet these needs since He is the one that calls us to go. Isn’t it time we stretch our faith beyond our comfort zone? If we never step out of the boat our faith will never truly be able to grow. My sister, Simone, loves this quote from her favorite song, “Voice of Truth” by Casting Crowns, and I think it suits this perfectly. “Oh what I would do to have the kind of faith to climb out of this boat I'm in onto the crashing waves, to step out of my comfort zone, into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is, and He's holding out his hand".
